What is selvage denim fabric?
Initially known as ‘self-edge’, the selvage is the narrow, tightly woven band on both edges of the denim fabric. A selvage end prevents the edge of the denim from untravelling and shows a clean, finished look. Old shuttle looms produce denim where selvage are closed.There are plenty color options of the self-edge,could be red,blue,black,orange etc.,make the self-edge colorful and the jeans more unique.
